Most visitors reach Ukiah and southern Mendocino County by car, but there are plenty of other options, including busses and shuttles from the closest airport with commercial service in Santa Rosa, and, for private pilots, the Ukiah Municipal Airport.

Sonoma County Airport (STS) is just 55 miles south and 1 hour driving to Ukiah.
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is approximately 127 miles south and 2.5 hours driving to Ukiah.
Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is approximately 138 miles southeast and 2.5 hours driving to Ukiah.

Mendocino Transit Authority (MTA) operates shuttle service to Ukiah from Sonoma County Airport Express (STS) in Santa Rosa. Several hotels in Ukiah also can arrange shuttle services or referrals to their guests with advance notification. Please contact your hotel directly for local transportation availability.

Downtown Ukiah has a variety of parking spaces offering customers short and long-term affordable parking.
Customer Parking – All non-permit public parking on State, Main and School Streets is FREE, but there are time-restricted zones.Electric Vehicle Charging – A public electric vehicle-charging station is located in parking lot A. Cars that are not charging are not allowed to park in those spaces. A Tesla Charging Station is located in the large parking lot near School and Clay Streets.
Weekend Parking – On weekends, unrestricted (no time limit) parking is available throughout the downtown.
