ART WALK UKIAH
Mixed Media Staff Show: “After Work”
Friday, August 2 from 5-7 PM
The Ukiah Branch Library staff invites the community to join us for Art Walk Ukiah on Friday, August 2 from 5-7 p.m. During July and August, we will feature a mixed media exhibit created by the talented Ukiah Library staff. The featured art will include poetry, crochet, sewing, painting, collage, photography, and other handmade crafts.
Each staff member brings their unique background, experience, and skillset to the library and uses their own mediums to feed their artistic passions. This very special Art Walk event is an opportunity to showcase what our library staff creates on their own time, “After Work.”
The Branch will host live music by Clay Hawkins and an all-ages matchbook altar-making craft program. Enjoy a book sale by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library as you browse the Art Walk.
This exhibit is free to the public, open to all ages, and sponsored by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library and Mendocino County Library.
