Pumpkinfest Ukiah – The Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off
The Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off will take place on Friday, October 16, at Alex Thomas Plaza. The entry fee is $10. Pre-registration is not required but all entries must arrive between 4:00 and 6:30 p.m.
Cash prizes totaling more than $3,000 will be awarded, including a grand prize of $1.50 per pound for the heaviest pumpkin. Winners will be announced after all entries have been received and weighed.
The giant pumpkins will then be featured on a float in the PumpkinFest Parade, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, before being put on display throughout the PumpkinFest celebration on October 17 and 18.
Last year’s winner was 729 pounds. Who will have this year’s largest pumpkin?
