Makerspace: Pocket Monsters

Friday, October 16, from 3-5 pm

Shhh, be very, very quiet or you’ll wake them! Menacing creatures from the Ukiah Branch Library: Dracula, Frankenstein, a whole werewolf pack, and rising from fabric scrap heaps everywhere – the pocket monsters! So cute you’ll scream! On October 16 from 3 to 5 p.m., join us to create your very own hand sewn pocket-sized creature. Will they be cute? Terrifying? So big you need cargo pockets to carry them? Small enough for women’s pants’ pockets? It’s up to you.

We provide fabric scraps, needles, thread, and stuffing. You provide the imagination. A reminder that space is limited, and you don’t want to miss what happens when the monsters awaken. Make your reservations now by calling or coming into the Ukiah Branch Library.

This program is made possible through the generous support of the Friends of the Ukiah Valley Library and the Mendocino County Library. For more information, please visit www.mendolibrary.org or contact the Ukiah Branch at (707) 463-4490.
