LOBA Poetry Series with Jack Crimmins
Monthly Poet Features & Open Mic
Saturday, October 17 at 3 PM
Join Ukiah Branch Library staff as we host poetry events in-person on the third Saturdays of each month at 3 p.m. This free event is open to both teens and adults. All are invited to share poems in any form or style or just listen to others. On October 17, we welcome Jack Crimmins.
Crimmins is the Sonoma County-based author of seven poetry collections, including “Wilderness and Time” (Longship Press) and his latest trilogy, “The Light in California” (Taurean Horn Press). In her introduction to his first book, “Kit Fox Blues,” Diane di Prima wrote, “Jack Crimmins weaves together the music of the city streets and the urgent, fragile sounds of wilderness.” Please contact the Ukiah Branch Library at (707) 463-4490 or [email protected] for more information.
