Frame It” — Assemblage Art Exhibition at the Corner Gallery

Artists from the Outta the Box assemblage camps will showcase their work in the front windows of the Corner Gallery throughout the month of August. The First Friday opening of “Frame It” takes place on August 1st from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Corner Gallery, located at 201 S. State St., Ukiah.

Spencer Brewer and Esther Siegel of Harmony Gaits launched these monthly art camps with a vision: to share the assemblage art form and foster a creative community of like-minded artists. The Outta the Box camps welcome participants of all ages and artistic backgrounds.

Each piece in this special group show incorporates a frame—transformed with found or discarded objects into deeply personal, imaginative sculptures. The exhibition features work created over the past six months during the camps and marks the first-ever gallery exhibition for many of these emerging artists. Expect an inspired, eclectic, and playful display—where every sculpture tells a story and celebrates the joy of creativity.
