ART WALK UKIAH
An Homage to Small Creatures: Spotlighting the Neo-Naturalism Work of Diza Hope
Friday, September 5, 2025 from 5 – 7 PM

The Ukiah Branch Library invites the community to join us for Art Walk Ukiah on Friday, September 5 and Friday, October 3, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The library will feature an art exhibition of works on canvas and paper by local artist Diza Hope.

The work of Diza Hope is an exploration of some of the wonders of the natural world in Mendocino County and the flora and fauna that live here. Hope pays homage to these small and stunning creatures and their natural environments. Her work observes and documents the way the natural environment reacts to change.

On Sept. 5, the branch will host live guitar music by Clay Hawkins, and on Oct. 3, the branch will host live piano music by Deanne California. During both Art Walk openings, guests can enjoy an all-ages crafting program as well as a robust book sale hosted by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library.

This art exhibition is free to the public, open to all ages, and is sponsored by the kind and generous support of the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library and Mendocino County Library.
