Urban Homesteading 101:
Paths to Sustainability and Self-Reliance
Saturday, November 8 from 3:00 to 5:30 PM

The Ukiah Branch Library staff invites the community to join us for a workshop series that will bring local homesteaders to the library to share their knowledge in four semimonthly, hands-on workshops. We will explore topics on herbal tea blending, sourdough bread making, mushroom growing, and beekeeping basics.

The first workshop in this series, Herbal Teas for Winter Wellness, will be on November 8 from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m., and will be led by Annie Brigit Waters. Participants will enjoy this hands-on workshop making herbal tea blends that will help you stay warm and healthy through the winter.

These workshops are free to the public, and reservations are required. Call 707-463-4490 to reserve your spot. This program is for participants 12 years and up. All materials will be provided. This event is sponsored by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library and Mendocino County Library.
