Join us as we work to build a connection from Woodpecker Trail to Soap Root Trail. Our new excavator operators have begun work on the project but we will be doing hand tool finish work on the 23rd. We will also work on a couple of puncheons for the trail. Wear sturdy work shoes, dress in layers, bring water and a way to carry it, and bring gloves if you have them; we have extra.

We’ll meet at 9AM at the Deerwood Trailhead, take a lunch break (we provide the sandwiches), and plan to have you back to your car by 2PM. Hope to see you there! Send an email to [email protected] to RSVP.

This new section of trail will allow users to connect Soap Root to Woodpecker without going on a truck road. And, our team is using it to train operators to build and maintain trail with our new excavator.
