The Ukiah Contra Dance Group is holding a public dance on Saturday October 11th from 7:00pm til 10:00 pm in the Ukiah Methodist Church Social Hall, 205 N Bush St, Ukiah. Celia Ramsey will teach and call all the dances, while Jeanette Duncan (fiddle), Chris Carney (guitar/fiddle) and Roxanne Oliva (accordion/flute) musically create the lively jigs and reels to make your feet fly.
Class for beginners at 6:30 pm (free).
All ages are welcome. No experience and no partner needed.
These dances have been going on for 30+ years, always a great mix of ages.
