For the 11th season, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild tours the American West. Mountain tops, old-growth forests, and sunny meadows replace the traditional concert hall in the series featuring pianist Hunter Noack on a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano. Listen through wireless headphones and wander afield with the music as a soundtrack to your experience in the wild.
About this Landscape
Set along a gentle creek in the tiny hamlet of Hopland, Campovida is a family-owned farm and winery. Lavender gardens guide guests to the concert site, a meadow framed by a pair of oak trees. Organic and biodynamic farming practices connect the 150 acres of orchards and gardens to the rich agricultural legacy of the Pomo people in the ancestral Sanel Valley of southeastern Mendocino County.
Turn your concert into a wine-country weekend with a stay at Thatcher Hotel or Stock Farm Hotel, both located just one mile from Campovida in Hopland. Explore nearby wineries, restaurants, and small-town shops with guidance from Visit Ukiah as you plan your visit.
With thanks to Thatcher Hotel, Stock Farm Hotel, and Visit Ukiah for their support of this concert.
