Fall 3D Printing and Design Series
At the Ukiah Branch Library
Saturday, September 13 at 1 PM

Join us at the Ukiah Branch Library for a special workshop series: 3D Printing & Design. In the first workshop, library staff will introduce participants to the basics of 3D printing, including an up-close look at one of our two MakerBot Sketch 3D printers. Participants will also learn the basics of 3D design by completing online tutorials at www.tinkercad.com. After the workshop, you will be able to design your own item and have it printed at the library! Printing times may vary.

• Saturday, September 13 at 1 PM- Introduction to Tinkercad
• Saturday, October 11 at 1 PM- Make a 3D Sketch
• Saturday, November 8 at 1 PM- Create a Spirograph

This event is open to ages 8 to 18. Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Basic computer operating skills are necessary to follow along with the tutorial. Laptops for 3D design will be provided, but participants can also bring their own laptops.
