The Rotary Clubs of Ukiah will be hosting the 10th Annual Guitars for the Troops fundraiser in honor of Veterans Day.
The event will take place at Carl Purdy Hall, Redwood Empire Fairgrounds in Ukiah on Saturday, November 11, 2023 . Doors open at 5:30.
Admission tickets available at Mendocino Book Company for $20 or at the door for $25.
The event includes an evening of dinner and dancing. Two great bands will perform:
Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers Ultimate ZZTop Tribute and the John Mattern Band.
Funds raised from this event will be used to assist local Veterans Organizations and Projects, such as Canine Companions for Independence and their program to directly place service dogs with veterans with PTSD, Operation Tango Mike which prepares and sends monthly care packages to deployed troops, The Community Foundation of Mendocino County Veterans Angel Fund and gifting guitars to local veterans, the Veterans Garden and local Rotary projects.
