NARCAN® TRAINING WITH MCAVHN

Learn how to administer this life-saving medication

Join us for a free workshop with MCAVHN on Tuesday, May 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Ukiah Branch Library to learn how to administer Narcan® and to receive free Narcan®.

Naloxone (commonly known by its brand name, Narcan® is a life-saving medication used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. MCAVHN is hosting this event to help people identify the signs of an opioid overdose and learn how to administer Narcan®, which can save a person’s life. All attendees will receive free Narcan®. This is a walk-in program, no registration required.

MCAVHN is a non-profit organization providing services and support to people affected by substance use disorders and behavioral health conditions, including free Narcan distribution, harm reduction services, medication assisted treatment, Hepatitis C and HIV testing, and Hepatitis treatment.
