Join artists and their hosts for an evening of art, music and refreshments as you stroll from one venue to the next; each showcasing local art and artistry. Held in Historic Downtown Ukiah on the first Friday of each month, the First Friday Art Walk is the perfect way to relax your body, mind and soul. This enjoyable evening begins at 5:00 p.m. and promises to delight your senses; all while enjoying the company of others.
Medium Gallery, 522 E Perkins Street, Ukiah
MEDIUM Art Gallery will feature an ornament-making workshop for people of all ages. This event will be their final First Friday event of the year, just in time for the Christmas holidays. Materials will be provided, and light snacks and beverages will be available for donation. They will have the record player cued up and some fun music on the turntables. While you’re there, take in their Small Works group show, their final gallery show of the year. Small Works is intended as a venue for artistic gift-giving, and everything is priced right. All the art is local and handmade and created with care and passion.

Mo Mulheren and Andrea Reed are back at The 304. Santa will be joining in the First Friday Art Walk. They will be showcasing local artist Tim Poma who will have pieces for sale to give as gifts. The event will run from 5:00p-7:00p, Santa will be available for photo ops from 5:30-6:30p.
Corner Gallery Ukiah, 201 S State Street, Ukiah
Corner Galley Ukiah, artist members of the Corner Gallery get to celebrate themselves in the gallery’s front windows, the Corner Gallery was opened 16 years ago. Each artist will hang one or two of their favorite, mostly new pieces. There is no theme to the show just a vibrant and colorful display of the best each artist has to offer. Young Artist Wall will feature group show of art from The Arbor group, a Youth Resource Center sponsored by Redwood Children’s Services. Gina Greco, acrylic paintings featured on the pony wall space sponsored by to the MCAA. Live music will be provided by Midas Well, otherwise known as Chris Gibson and Char Jacobs.
Art Center Ukiah, 201 S State Street, Ukiah
Art Center Ukiah hosts “Give Art! Gifts from Home” adding a little sparkle to this season of giving. The gallery space will be filled with a lavish display of smaller art pieces- jewelry, woodcraft, scarves, woven articles, whimsical ornaments, glassware, ceramics and small paintings to name a few. Some artists for this annual show are returning by popular demand, and others will be showing their wares for the first time. Artists Laura Buckner, Sulin Bell, Virginia Macintosh, Jacquie Lolich, Susan Blackwelder, Jill Millward, Darrell Carpenter, Jean Kennedy, Meelah Dorhosti, Barbara Stanger, Catherine Skreehot, Colleen Schenck, Rachel Lahn, Katie Gibbs and Laura Fogg.
Grace Hudson Museum, 431 S Main Street, Ukiah
The Museum’s annual Holiday Open House and Craft Fair helps kick off the season of joy and giving with a weekend of festivities. Come shop from an array of local artists and artisans vending a wide variety of art and crafts. And this year the very popular White Elephant Sale makes its return, where you might be able to pick up a unique household treasure or vintage article of clothing at a bargain price.
