Mark your calendar and join Ukiah’s first open-house tour of 5 all-or-mostly electric homes and the new all-electric Acorn Valley Plaza low-income apartments on Gobbi Street on Saturday afternoon, April 26, 1-4 p.m..  The Electric Homes Tour is an Earth Day event co-sponsored by the City of Ukiah Electric Utility and Climate Action Mendocino.  This is a fantastic way for people to learn from owners of solar and electric appliances about how these things work, cost-savings, maintenance, installation… Ask anything:  Installation pros will be on hand at every stop on the tour.

Included in the tour:  solar systems, backup batteries, EV chargers, induction stoves, mini-split HVAC, heat pump hot water heaters, installation, cost and incentives.
