Yoshaany Rahm Community Harvest Run/Walk ( 8:30 am - 9:30 am )

This day of racing is dedicated to Yoshaany Rahm.  He was a past Ukiah High runner who passed away in 2008.  Yoshaany exemplified the spirit of the long distance runner.  Kid's run at 9:30, 5K run/walk at 10:00 am.  All proceeds from the Kids' Run and the Community Run will benefit the Mendocino County Community Foundation fund for fire survivors.

Green Team Cleanup ( 9:00 am - 10:00 am )

This Green Team cleanup will focus on cleaning up the areas in and around, the South Boat Ramp at the South end of Lake Mendocino.  We will meet in the parking lot, located at the end of Lake Mendocino Dr. at 8:45 am, to sign in, then start the cleanup at 9:00.  We meet for a group photo and raffle at 9:50, then finish up at 10:00.

Mastering the Molten: Mendocino County Art Glass.  Highlighting contemporary art glass from master craftspeople throughout Mendocino County, this exhibit surveys the diversity of the medium.  The featured artists use techniques ranging from kiln forming, cold work, sandblasting and classic Venetian glassblowing to the computer aided design and wood burning with molten glass.  This exhibit will be displayed until January 28, 2018. http://www.gracehudsonmuseum.org

The Visit Ukiah Program is spreading the news about the Ukiah Valley. Funded by the lodging tax from local hotels and managed by a seven member advisory group with local representatives from the retail, wine, hotel, tourism, and art sectors, the program is responsible for marketing Ukiah as a destination for leisure vacations and business meetings to improve the City’s tax base and grow Ukiah’s stock in the State’s tourism industry.
